MiGMIS members, after great deliberation and much discussion the MiGMIS board has regretfully cancelled this year’s MiGMIS conference. This was an incredibly difficult decision to make, as we know how valuable this event is to all of us. Although things may be returning somewhat to resemble normal, many of us face travel restrictions and budget constraints that make conferences out of reach for this year. In light of all of these factors and to ensure the safety of our members, the decision was made to cancel this year’s conference and put our efforts into next year’s event.
Even though it would be possible to share sessions virtually, the intangible benefit of our MiGMIS conference is the networking that government attendees can do with their peers and the personalized attention attendees have with our valued sponsors. In light of that, rather than having government members sit alone at your computer for extended hours and listen, we will be sharing a few sessions where practical here and there as special events and continue holding our virtual roundtables to bring us together.
Here are a few important, immediate details we want you to know:
- Full registration refunds will be given. Full registration refunds, including guest passes purchased will be issued to the original form of payment. For example, if you paid by check, you will be issued a refund check.
- Full sponsorship refunds will be given. Full refunds will be issued to the original form of payment. For example, if you paid by check, you will be issued a refund check.

- MiGMIS will initiate the refunds shortly, you do not need to do anything to receive your refund.
