Eaton County Awarded Best Technology Project of the Year
Eaton County's IT department implemented a county-wide workflow module that enhances the core features of it's document management system. The project brought together stakeholders from twenty two departments/agencies to collaborate on the development of a common approach to receiving and submitting accounts payable records for payment. The IT staff exceeded the original goal to have 10 departments/agencies using the tool by the end of 2012. The efficient design of the workflow model, one-on-one user training, and well-structured project management allowed the project to exceed expectations.
