Government organizations become Mi-GMIS members by registering at our parent organization, GMIS International. One of the biggest benefits is the peer networking opportunities. Getting to know each other makes it easy to share experiences, successes and failures, so that we can all do our jobs better. You'll find that Mi-GMIS Members are more than willing to share information and collaborate.
Mi-GMIS participates in the GMIS listserv, as well as the Listserv available through this site. Every September, we have a 3-day conference in Michigan with speakers on relevant topics, a vendor exhibit area, and social opportunities to network with your peers. We also have Regional Roundtables every other month that are hosted by our users and are restricted to government staff. This gives us a forum for spirited conversations about our challenges, successes and current projects.
