- Provide leadership and representation of the GMIS International mission, vision and value to the public sector agencies within the state of Michigan.
- Continue to strengthen the organizational health of Mi-GMIS to further enhance the ability to provide leadership to its membership.
- Create and foster opportunities for developing professional relationships among public sector peers as well as public-private partnerships.
- Provide for and sponsor opportunities for collaboration among public and private sector agencies.
- Promote professional development and educational opportunities that enhance public sector IT leaders' knowledge, skills, and abilities.
